Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Anthara. We strive to deliver delicious products and excellent service. However, due to the perishable nature of our offerings (cakes, bakes, desserts), our refund policy is designed to maintain quality and fairness for all customers. Please read the following carefully.
1. When Refunds Are Eligible
You may request a refund in the following situations:
- Order cancellation by you, if done before the allowed cut-off time relative to the chosen delivery time slot.
- Order canceled by Anthara due to product unavailability, delivery issues from our side, or other service constraints.
- Severe damage / defect in the product at the time of delivery (subject to verification).
- Non-delivery attributable to issues on our side (e.g. delivery partner failure, logistical errors) and not caused by the customer.
2. Cancellation & Refund Rules

* If you have Anthara Wallet balance, refunds to wallet may be processed fully (i.e. without cancellation fee), depending on our policy.
- Same-day / Midnight orders: Once confirmed, these may not be cancelled and are generally non-refundable.
- Special occasion / custom orders (e.g. themed cakes, designer orders): May also be non-cancellable once production begins.
3. Order Execution & Non-Refund Situations
Your order is considered executed and not eligible for refund in these circumstances:
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address or PIN code provided by you.
- Customer unreachable or recipient not available at the time of delivery.
- Customer refusing to accept the delivery.
- Delivery location locked or restricted.
- Wrong contact number provided.
- Delivery instructions leading to non-accessibility.
- Second delivery attempt failures (we make only one attempt unless otherwise agreed).
In such cases, refunds will not be processed, as the order is deemed fulfilled or attempted under customer responsibility.
4. Refund for Damaged or Defective Products
- Please inspect the product immediately upon delivery.
- If you receive a product that is severely damaged or defective, refuse delivery or accept with an explicit note of damage, and notify us within 4 hours.
- We may request images or additional evidence to verify the claim.
- If validated, we will arrange for a replacement or refund (whichever is feasible) at no extra cost to you.
5. Refund Processing Time & Method
- Refunds are initiated only after you confirm your preferred refund mode (bank transfer, original payment method, or Anthara Wallet).
- Bank / Card refunds typically take 7 to 15 working days (depending on the bank / payment provider).
- Wallet refunds (if applicable) may be processed faster per internal policy.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed.
6. How to Request a Refund or Cancel an Order
- Send a cancellation or refund request via email / customer support, quoting your Order ID, reason, and preferred refund mode.
- Requests must be made within the allowed time window (see above) or damage window.
- Keep your email / message records and order details handy to speed up verification.
7. General & Miscellaneous
- This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service / Terms & Conditions, and should be read in conjunction with our Shipping Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy.
- We reserve the right to change or update this policy at any time, without prior notice. The updated version will be posted on our website with the “Last Updated” date.
- If any clause herein is held invalid or unenforceable, that clause shall be severed to the necessary extent and the remainder of the policy shall remain in force.
